Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

MS Outlook / gmail problem

    anyone having problems sending with gmail or could shed some light on this for me?

    I'm using ms outlook (office xp).
    I've removed account settings & re-added in case of any corrupt settings
    Have triple-checked all settings (including SSL, ports etc) & are correct.

    On the add/edit accounts section in outlook I've tried 'test account' and the first 4 steps (establish network connection / find outgoing / find incoming / log on to incoming) are fine but "send test email" gives an error to check the email address, which is correct.
    I have the gmail checker plugin/extension for firefox which checks fine, I can log in to the site fine and send from there

    Other email accounts in outlook are all fine & no errors testing account settings.

    In thunderbird biggrin.gif my other gmail account is working fine on send/receive (with the 'select smtp' extension) both via SSL port 465 & TSL port 587.
    I've also tried the problem account in thunderbird & it's fine with SSL & TSL as well.

    This points to outlook itself but I just cannot figure it out.

    If i click 'send/receive' in outlook I get 'sending 0 of 1' but nothing in the outbox - is it still trying to send the test?
    Everything was ok up to a few weeks ago - could send/receive with no probs.

    nearly forgot - pop access is enabled on the account
