Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Game Problem

    I just installed xp home edition on a new pc (Athlon 3200+, 512 ram, 256mb Sapphire Radeon Atlantis Graphics). I can't run any games on it though. Any time i try to open a game it just flashes a black screen and then minimizes it. I can't figure out what it is. Any thoughts?

    Graphics drivers? Direct X? ...?

    ran dxdiag and everythin seems ok, the drivers should be fine, just installed and updated a few days ago.
    One weird thing tho, if i test direct 3d acceleration it cancels the test claiming i pressed a key, dunno what thats about, my keyboards wireless and sometimes a lil weird so maybe thats all it is...

    Have you checked the hardware for a loose connection?

    try connecting a wired keyboard to see if your wireless keyboard may be faulty or the reciever may be interpretating the signals wrong.
    other than that you may have a faulty GFX card or mabey there could be some software conflicting somewhere in your system.
    Just a few Ideas.
