Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What Stylus?

For years now I’ve been using a fairly standard Stanton Cartridge and Stylus set up like this one. And whenever the Stylus got worn I’d just replace it with a new one.

Now, at the moment I need new Stylus’s (sp?) so I said I’d have a look at some different makes and models.

One of the lads that I work with is a Hip Hop DJ and he uses these and reckons you can’t get much better. I had a look at them and I’m fairly impressed with the spec but as most of my collection is House/Dance the one’s he uses probably wouldn’t be suited. So instead I’m thinking about going with these, although the “rave” description is a bit off putting, but I suppose that’s just Americans for ya!! ;)
I also really like the look of these so I'd love some feedback on them if anybody has a set.

So has anybody any suggestions or recommendations?

    B.

Dunno what kind of price range you're thinking of but these are pretty nice. If not get the Shure whitelabels - they look seriously sweet though I've never tried them.

My stylus are well past their sell by date and based on you having read good reviews I reckon I'll go with those Shure whitelabel too! I was about to just buy more stanton but been using them ten years, time for a change I reckon!
