Some advice needed for selling my car

Hi all

Have been trying to sell my car (first time I have tried to sell a car privately) for just over a month and so far all I have had is phone interest (and annoying canvassers) but no solid interest. The car is a red Hyundai Coupe, '98, info [URL=https://us.v-cdn.net/6034073/uploads/attachments/27495/9845.jpg[/URL] .I have had it in CBG and the B&S, initially for 8700 (based on the whats it worth in CBG) and dropped it to 8k a fortnight ago in the B&S but still no real interest.
Am I advertising in the right place (would the Herald or Autotrader be better?) and have I overvalued it? I got it as a tradein off a 318is that had been thrashed by wannabe joyriders (and was killing me on insurance) about 14 months ago. Any advice would be greatly appriciated as I want to sell to buy a car off a friend of mine that may not be available much longer!

yeah a brief look at revenues website indicates the car is worth 6200-6300 max.

Forget CBG, I got no interest for my car when I advertised on that website, but once I put it in autotrader, they put my car in their magazine aswell, I must of got 10 calls in the last week for the car. My advice, wash your car and take a more attractive picture, then pop it in autotrader, lower the price
