    i really dont want to waste loads of money buying a ticket and i think its like 80 quid for a decent real garda id from a dodgy guard around these parts and get refused at the door, i just dont want to risk it

    i heard that lamb of god and shadows fall were supporting them, lamb of god are like me favourite band of all time and slayer are my second favourite, but the prospect of wasting €120 is just totally blinding that, can anyone give me extremely good reassurance that i will be allowed in, even upstairs, im 15 btw, and i'll be going with very unresponsible over 18 year olds haha as in i'll have to bring them to the hospital from o.d.ing on stuff, nah maybe not

    lc maths paper 2 on the monday and french the next morning, that's me out of the picture, BUT i hated ghua and it'd prob be full of the young and the lame!

    The rule now is that under 18's have to be with someone 21 or over.
    And the Ambassador make no exceptions on stuff liek this.

    Quite a few u18's got in to see Megadeth AFAIK. They were all put upstairs in the seating though.

    Dude, If it's going to be costing you that much to come up and money's tight don't stay in a hotel, go for a hostel or an all night internet cafe and get the first train home. Do you really need to spend €50 as well? you can check out cheaper transport too.

    What I'm trying to say is, don't let cash stop you from the gig. It's well do-able if you make a sacrifice or two.

    from mcd.ie:

    Exactly. If you want a cheap top-notch hostel to stay in, check out Barnacles in Temple Bar. You're talking a maximum of €20 for a nights stay, if you opt for the eleven person dormitory (and why wouldn't you??). Grab a bus instead of a train too. €50 spending money is enough if you must have a gig t-shirt.

    I live in Sligo and the Megadeth gig costed me a total of €70, which included travel, overnight accomodation and a gig t-shirt.

    i emailed mcd and they said that under no circumstances is anyone under 18 allowed into the gig, o well...

    i'll go to slipknot tho.. does anyone know if the gig is part of the subliminal verses tour? coz if it is then that means amb of god are playing with them and thats all that matters to me i ****in love those guys

    They usually have a different support for the European dates. I think it's going to be Helmet.
