Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have a wireless setup on my pc which i joined to two other pcs and the internet through a wireless router. When I set it all up originally I just had my pc on the network and everything was installed new and all went smoothly. Now (since I started from scratch and included the other pcs) every time I try to load a web page it takes around 5 or more seconds to start to load the page I have requested. When it seems to connect (or whatever it does through the router to get the internet page) the speed I get for a download seems fairly jumpy ie. from 44kbps to as low as 8kbps on the DU Meter I have running. This is also the case on each of the other comps which have an internet connection on the network. Any ideas? Should I just rip it all out and start again (which would be a nightmare cos i'm not afraid to admit it, i'm a noob and it took me an eternity to get all the pcs talking on my LAN) or is there a way to tweak it?
    Cheers folks.

What is the default gateway in your tcp settings? It should be set to the ip of the router.

Does anyone know somebody who could take a look at this wireless setup cos its doing my head in! Everything I have tried doesn't help the delay between thepc and the internet connection via my router...

Well thanks anywho Dingatron but as luck would have it I happened across the problem eventually and as it turned out the Wireless router was set to route but there was also a setting to make it the gateway which I duly complied with and now its workin' perfick. Cheers for the offer! ;)
