Another week another Channel 4 Greatest poll!

    http://www.channel4.com/4car/100-greatest/vote.html

You have 10 votes use them wisely.

    Heres my list

    Austin Mini
    BMW M3 (E30)
    Citroen 2CV
    Citroen DS
    Citroen Traction Avant
    FIAT 500
    Jaguar E Type
    Land Rover Series 1
    Mercedes benz 300 SL
    VW Golf GTI Mk 1

I know there are vehicles that I could/should have voted for like the Wileys Jeep and Renualt Espace which are historicaly important but there you go...

I'll also stick this in the Classic forum

    Mike.

AC Cobra - it has defined everything a supercar should be (to the enthusiast) for decades, and still does, and -IMHO- forever will...

    Alfa Spider - it's intemporal

Citroën DS - it was revolutionary

Citroën Traction Avant - it was revolutionary before the DS

London Taxi - it's ubiquitous and defines (im)personal vehicular transportation

    Mazda MX-5 - I drive one

IIRC when Top Gear did the same thing the LandRover won?

Still, it wasn't up against Renault Twingo - 1994 so it could luck out this time... :D

They don't exactly give you an exhaustive list to choose from.

The Fiat Multipla on the shortlist for Greatest Car Ever?

Surely the 124 was more influential...

    I like the Twingo.
It always looked good (British designer, iirc), and the most recent version looked just that little bit better.

If they had made them in RHD I'd have considered one.

One of the differences between the BBC and C4 is that the latter has to look after it's advertising revenue...I suspect some not so great new cars have been put in to boost the coffers rather than the ratings.
