Video chat from behide a firewall

Are there any programs out there which will allow you to host video chats from behide a firewall, in the same way skype allows voice chats over https? I've tried out a few programs to no success any help would be appriciated.

id say most programs probably work , you just need to setup your firewall to handle the outgoing and incoming connections.

If your firewall has usable logs, you should try the programs again and then check the logs to see what traffic was blocked. That should give you an idea of the ports that you need to open.

What protocols do poeple use for video calling? Like the way we have SIP and H323 for voice?
