Mine did'nt fail on a drivers door mirror which did'nt have a working adjuster.

The adjuster can be bypassed by using your hand to move the mirror so surely they can't fail on it.

Your license plate has a 1 or 2 digit code to identify the county your car is registered in. Surely they can't fail you for not having it written on the top of the plate? Oh no wait, they can.:D I don't think logic has any place in this.

My drivers door mirror no longer adjusts from inside but does from the outside. It passed today. :)
