I know, I know, I'm a little behind everybody else, it would seem. Just wondering if anybody can help me out: Who or where is this series being shown? Or should i just wait for it to come out on DVD?

oh god ... you don't want to see it. I'm not kidding. its woeful. terrible. awful. a completely different show.

if you *really* want to see it, then it'll be starting soon on channel 4. i think next season.

I don't think it's bad.. it's my favourite show on telly and it has been since the beginning.

Season 5 was definately the worst season of West Wing so far. However Season 6 is back to the good standard of the first 4 seasons.

Yeah, I've heard it's not the best, but I wouldn't really want to just skip it, and move on to season 6, regardless of how bad it may be. And no matter how bad it is, it's still going to beat much of what's on tv.

Thanks for all your help. I reckon I'll give the dvd a miss: a little bit expensive for me. I'll stay tuned to c4 (or perhaps e4?) instead.

Well, as far as I can see, Channel 4 are about three quarters of th eway through Season 4 right now, so it should take too long for Season 5 to make it to E4.
