FWEEE online multi player / MMORPG / team strategy.. .

Ive checked out some of the games in the Free games thread and some of them seem good.
What Im looking for is a FREE multiplayer online game. Maybe a MMORPG or team strategy game. I like games with teamwork and strategy.

I cant seem to find anything that really gets my juices flowing. Here are some of what Ive checked out:

Free MMORPG. Seems ok. A bit like runescape only better graphics. Very hard to get into and not much atmosphere.

Free MMORPG. Im downloading the client at the moment, it looks good judging from the mpegs on the site. Has anyone played this?

FREE MMORPG. Ok graphics but not really my cup of tea. Seems pretty hard to get into. Is there a plot??

Nice isometric graphics and plays well but 2 major problems with it. 1- its very light on plot and motivation. 2- maps like pages which end with points you cannot pass for no reason.. this drives me nuts.

Free multiplayer flash game. tanks, flags, tactics. Loads in a minute and membership not required. addictive.

Think quake in your browser, I kid u not. Loads in about 10 minutes on my 512. well worth the wait. Shame youre playin against a bot but watch that space...

At the moment Im still playing Conquer and its good fun even without a plot! But I feel like I need more.. and I have a feeling thats ultimatly gonna mean parting with some cash..?

i ve only played risk your life good game but unless u get a party ure done for after level 10, cause all the quest dry up around that point, and it extremelly hard to build up levels after that

thanks for the replys. yeah im starting to see that. Altho a feeling of allegance and some sort of communal development in guilds etc can be interesting.

Risk your life looks good. Im starting to sway more towards a game like Quake or something similar where I can just log in and have a team scrap for half an hour or so...

tried nearly everything and still playing the addictive Conquer despite its paradoxical maps and lack of plot. Disappointed with Mu which installed in its extract folder and has like 4 exes... none of which seem to do it..

its so frustrating that theres probably lots of great stuff out there that im just not discovering..

when i found www.tankmania.com it was like " where have you been all my life "

imo, best free game on the internet. 100+ downloadable maps and 10,000's of people to play against.

actually the game has its own section on this forum. maybe you could get the ip addresses of some good servers off it.

also prepare to be nothing more then a bullet, panzer, artillary, knife, etc. magnet when you first play.

just a word of advice for anyone thinkin of tryin conquer. It crashed 3 times on me in the last 2 days and the third time I had to reinstall windows coz it messed up me laptop.
