playing .jar games on a nokia 6230

    i have a nokia 6230 and a mate gave me a load of phone games the games are .jar executables how can i get the games onto the phone and play them. i have transfered them onto the MMc card but the phone keeps saying that the file types are not supported. do i need different file types or do i need to do something else.

    any ideas

    You'll need to run games programmed using a special API for mobile applications. The extension for these is usually .jad. JAR files are usually executable files using J2SE, which is unsupported on mobiles.

    The 6230 takes .jar files... Get the Nokia OC Suite for it off www.nokia.com

    You'll need IRDA or BLUETOOTH or USB CABLE to install them though :P
