It would want to be absolutely perfect with no marks, dents or anything (i.e. factory!).
However, as it is otherwise a standard E30 320i with no electrics etc. I would pay about €1.5 to 2k
Higher prices are being offered to well specced cars such as the 318is or 325i sport with all electrics and LSD etc.

2 or 4 door? 2 are more desirable.
Are they BMW alloys like these (www.bmwmovies.net/displayimage.php?album=15&pos=6)? Are they kerbed or damaged?
Check it carefully for rust (wheel arches, sills, boot pockets).

136k is nothing for the M20 but do check the service history - who serviced it, when was the last service done and how many service lights are showing on the dash. Are there any rattles from the top end when starting from cold? The heads on the M20 engines were made of light alloy and were very prone to cracking caused by overheating. Get some newspaper and see if you can stop the viscous fan when it is moving. If you can then the fan coupling is gone - not a big or expensive job to replace but can lead to overheating in traffic. When was the timing belt last changed? This will set you back a bit at a specialist!

Agree with kbannon. There is such a wide price band on 3 and 5 series 89-91, it would be down to fsh, paintwork, interior, mechanicals, extras. For a standard minter with decent NCT something around 1.5 - 2K, for an average example with a few niggles maybe 1 - 1.5K. For a 'needing work' effort 1K or less. For 'overheating'/'starting problem'/'electrics'/'no NCT' maybe a few hundred euro.
Really have to see the car or a few piccies ....
This is an E30 model, I take it?
Also if it's been 'lowered' , ask for details. Badly done jobs can mess up the car (and your head) considerably.
There are lots of 'em around atm,
almost tempted to change my beloved '88 316 coupe.
