    Hi,

I've had a PC for yonks but never really play any games on it. Can anyone suggest a site that is good at reviewing games so I can use it to point me in the right direction of a few good games to buy?

    Thanks.

http://www.eurogamer.net is superb. The reviews are spot on and the forums are good too. It's replaced me buying magazines or any other IGN-style "reviews".

I can't stress enough how excellent it is.

EDIT: changed the .com to .net thanks!

For ign and gamespot there is a forumla you need to apply to reviews.

1st read the review if you see less than 5 pop up ads or banners for the game during hre review subtract 2 from final score.
If you see 10 pop up ads or banners from a game made by the same company subtract 1 from score.
If the review is an exclusive then it has been paid for subtract 3 and go back 4 spaces.

Best bet is read Eurogamer but they slow as **** with reviews so www.gamerankings.com is quite good for getting an average they usally right 10 reviews of a game will give you an idea of that its like.

I like Metacritic (similar idea to gamerankings, but they also do music and movies, so its a good allrounder!).

    www.gamespot.com
I find this site to be very thorough and informative for pretty much every platform. I always go here first before buying any games
