    3rd Year Sociology: Library Books on Reserve




    Note:
    Marie Bolger, who looks after social science and related books in the library, has carried out a full inventory of 3rd year ‘core’ books, lending patterns etc. She found that quite of lot of these books, while available in the SLC, were not borrowed and she wonders if students are fully aware of SLC facilities. The following arrangements have now been put into place:

    • 10 further books (Listed below) have been put in the reserve collection
    • All ‘core’ books on long term loan (i.e. to staff and postgraduate students) have been recalled;

    Additional books can be put into the reserve collection if they are identified by the student group as difficult to access. In this case students should contact Marie Bolger in the Social Science office on the second floor of the library. However, students are reminded to check for SLC availability of books.
