I just checked my fees account and it said my account owed €84.
ebay told me that whenever it gets to £15, they freeze ur account until u pay it.
And loads of the charges were for relisting. I thought it was free to relist?

You pay for the listing fee and if your item sells, ebay will refund the fee.

Yes it is a good idea

ebay operate a tiered system of listing fees. The more bells and whistles in your ad, the more it will cost you. Don't forget you will also have to pay a % of the final price to ebay

It is easy to list. Take a good photo of the item

Accept payments from Paypal as I have found the majority of people will pay this way. Paypal will take their cut as well (owned by ebay!).

    thanks mate
just one more thing how much would u say postage would cost to send a psp game to some where in europe

Should be more that 5EUR to post to Europe.
The buyer pays for postage anyway..
Check out www.sds.ie for heavier goods.

I think ebay is a rip off..
    they are abusing a monopoly.
I sold something for 41ukp recently.
Ebay fees came to around 2ukp
Paypal fees came just short of 2ukp.
(Paypal, ebay are the same company)
So they got 4ukp from me.. 10% of selling price the f00kin goods..

    They keep increasing their fees.
They are getting loadsa money for doing f00k all.
Initally they were free (?) and then when they sucked everybody
in and got the monopoly, they introduced small fees, and continued
to increase them, to today's excessive amount.
    gggrrrrr

    what does this mean

    Please Create a Seller's Account
Before you sell on eBay, you'll need to open a seller's account for identification purposes.

Create a seller's account at no charge. It's fast and easy.

i sighned up with my credit card then this came up whats up

By default when you register at ebay you can only buy.
In order to sell you need to register your cc details,
and verify you are, who you say you are.
Ebay need your cc to debit their fees.
