What make/model of router is it.

Also, the ports for BFV are not always the same. They change depending on the server setting. Did you try different servers to see if the problem is only related to a single server setting? (Reading it again and it only appears to happen on the one server). Try opening the ports specific to that server setting. I believe your server does not run on the standard ports as its one of several gameservers from the single ip.

I have had some dropping problems with my wireless card/router [both Netgear] however those were driver related due to the WinXP SP2 upgrade and the existing drivers. New drivers sorted the problem out. So I'd also reccomend trying out the latest drivers for your wireless card.

This is the router I have installed now:

Must try and add in specific ports......just have general ones from search added in......

Had this one installed before it: http://www.dsl-warehouse.ie/product.asp?pr=WAG54G&pm=1517 and had similiar probs to what you are describing Winters......kept having drop outs after SP2 and its crappy Wireless software it wanted to use......

    Cards have newest drivers installed

you shouldn't need to setup specific port forwarding for nam, standard NAT should be able to deal with it(i've certainly never set it up)
