    I'm from a place called Dookinella, near Keel on Achill.
    Living in Galway now.
    Achill is a lovely spot when the weather is good. Cant beat the scenary or the craic.

    achill doesnt have a proper lighthouse just a few beacons at the piers.

    I used to work in that gaeltacht and live in that god-forsaken house (Teach na gCúntóirí) in Dooega- jaaaysus!! We called it Ostán Ocras. Great aul craic though, and yes the walk to the sound is hell, you need a serious amount of drink to face it ;-)
