Beware - if you get an email from "microsoft" asking you to go to a site to activate windows - don't, it's just looking for valid serial numbers. If someone else activates your serial number then it ain't yours to use anymore :eek:

Microsoft don't send emails around because you should already have automatic updates on / visit windowsupdates.microsoft.com on a regular basis.

more likely to be seen here and besides its not a new type of exploit , just another gullability test.
