Wish I still had a copy of my first web site... for 1995, it wasn't bad at all... but as I'm sure you can imagine, it's no longer online. It was for a college newspaper in Limerick, the X-Press. Must see if I can find a copy on floppy disk somewhere...

In fact, I doubt most of the early work I've done is available anywhere online- it's an interesting question you pose... must now have a search around wink.gif

I'm sorry, but there's no way those are your first ever sites...or your second for that matter...Everyone's first ever site was way more pants than those, with loads of stupid animated gifs and pic's.

"Everyone's", eh?... what a sweeping statement!

You are, of course, completely wrong. Now looking back on my post above, that web site for the college paper wasn't technically my first - I did a personal one before that. This was when you didn't have an option what colour your text or links would be, you couldn't use background images, tables, frames, Java, Javascript, ASP, etc. etc. etc. and using images themselves, except in a very minimalist way, was generally frowned upon.

Um... do you mean the browsers that used "helper applications" for practically everything, passing images, sounds, etc. over to an external program?

Bard, you remember when they brought out that amasing new browser that allowed you to have images in pages that opened in a seperate window?
