Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Have seen this film, and have wondered what was the point? No justice is done, no 'growth' in the characters, no conclusions etc. etc. I know not every film has to have a happy ending but it boils down to a bunch of morons beating each other up ... wahey! well done.

I did laugh at how bad it was. The songs were just stuck in anywhere too just for the sake of having the songs in it.

the point of the film and its much better explained in the book is that they live monotonous boring lives and that violence is there only real way to express and enjoy themselves in a society that walks around with a stick up its arse and is constantly trying to feminise men. similar to fight club really. there not mindless thugs there just normal blokes who get enjoyment out of acting like thugs. go read the book its only 4 quid in hmv, the film seemed very different as that zebedee character doesnt even exist in the book as far as i can remember and theres other stuff like that whole thing with the cricket bat to the head etc that doesnt happen.

the cheesy songs and cheap use of stock footage of london were very irritating

halfway thro the book and even tho i enjoyed it the flick doenst compare. only thing is theres supposedly a trilogy of books with the next ones being "headhunters" and then "england away" wondering if possibly the film takes from all three books.
