Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I would love to have information on town twinning. In particular Irish towns twinned with French towns. I think this would be a great way to widen one's circle of friends and offer to the opportunity to discover France in a social setting.

Any effort you make on my behalf will be much appreciated. Younger members maybe you might forward this message to people you think might be able to help. e.g. your parents, teachers, friends. Merci Beaucoup.

I know Galway is twinned with Lorient. Most secondary schools in Galway do a youth exchange every year or two with a school in Lorient. It is a very nice way for one family to make contact with another family - and if things work well, then you have great potential for future holidays/educational trips for your whole family. Don't know of any generic town-twinning websites though.

I went on holidays in France last summer, it was a driving holiday and I did spot one town that had a sign up saying that it was twinned iwth Cobh in Cork. Can't remeber the town in France, but it was nice to see it!
