Thats all very well, but I'd like to see his stats for Ireland and he's still played **** in the last 5 or so games for ireland

robbie keane - here we go again

Robbie is a very good striker. He always gets the goals when we need them. The sticking point,as we all say, is that he could be one of the GREAT strikers. I'm not going to complain at the mo'. If he hasnt improved by the next WC at all then i reckon there is no hope for him.

It's unfair to compare him to auld 'DownSyndrome' because Duff (besides being an infinetly better player than Keane anyway) has always (not just since Morinho) given me the impression of being more adaptable to the various whims of various coaches. Keane on the other hand has never convinced me that way and has come of as 'take me as I am because whilst I might improve my style I cannot change it'. Hense the number of times he has been dispensed of already in his career.

I will say 2-1 to Ireland. It will be close. but Israel dont keep clean sheets apart from the game against France so i think we will score a few goals.
