Thursday's Thunder Threat!

It was of total coincidence that i started this thread just after
the other one but some beefy showers are likely to develop tomorrow
and infact have developed already. There is some intense spells of rain
along a very active cold front spreading northeastwards as i speak and
thunderstorms are affecting parts of England and Wales.

There could well be a few flashes later tonight across Northern areas too..

But tomorrow is when i think the action will begin as a large depression
moves through the country with a wrap of very active trough features.

Already SCFERICS are showing in the center of the depression in association
with various convective cells and when the sun rises bingo..

A mild humid day with fresh southerly winds and heavy squally
thunder showers likely for Thursday..

We've had some very intense downpours in the last hour or two,I was half expecting lightning.
Suffice it to say, broadband will be plugged out when I leave this pc tonight.

I saw lightning in a very intense shower over Portlaoise on Wednesday Evening around 6.30pm.

Sunday looks like a few showers could develop, according to RTE.
