There are two ideas for designs i'd been thinking of recently (one of them more recent than the other)
Both involve aimals... either an irish wolfhound or a black labrador (possibly both) on my back, and an elephant on my left calf.
In terms of what people have said as regards different artists being particularly good at different styles (tribal, celtic, balck, grey, shading, etc...) are there any that would be particularly good at doing high detail tatoos of animals?

When you say high detail are you looking for a lifelike likeness (portrait) or a particular style?

I'll be in with Gav in Zulu on Friday and will ask him who he reckons is the best for animal work like that, in fairness it is almost portraiture so you will need someone who can do lifelike.

dropped into zulu yesterday and talked to one of the guys briefly. when i was saying about high detail, he showed me a ttattoo on his forearm and said anything that detailed is doable. i was impressed. now i just have to go and save up the 250 euro =0)
