I tried out the Ping G2 460cc driver at a demo the other evening. I loved it, real easy to hit. Does anyone own one ? I'd like to get opinions of people who have played with one for a while to see if it's worth changing to.

american import . love it
was looking at them g2 drivers.
said to myself, im playing well and hitting long drives. so im going to stick with what i got
otherwise when every new driver comes out id be tempted

im about to buy a g2 tomorrow - had a few hits in a shop range the other day and i loved it
€290 - no head cover but then i see this http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=240284

OK listen up this for all clubs etc. If buying a club dont buy in Ireland. Go onto Ebay and buy of the american shops. Try to get one delivered by USPS and there is no duty, UPS and youl lget smacked with tax, but you save so much money.
I bought the RAC os for 599 here in McGuirks, may dad bought em a month later off ebay for 325 including taxes, he originally paid 225, brand new.

Secondly about the club. Everyone has it because its the only decent distanced driver not going to be on the ban list come 2008. But I'd wait, Taylormade are releasing legal versions of the popular 500 series and new 700 series. I'm currently hitting a 540, illegal, but way outdrive the G2. I got it for 125.
