    Hi guys,

I am upgrading my Ram as I only have 512mb of dual ocz pc4000 3-4-4-8
    Description is here
    http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/memory/ocz_ddr_pc_4000_dual_channel-eol

So I want to upgrade to at least 1GB.
Not sure what to buy though.

Should i just get another 2X256mb dual that match my current RAM. I was looking at shop4memory.com for some that match but they dont have any with the same timing. 512Mb kit DDR Gold PC4000 Dual Channel - OCZ 2.5-4-4-7

Or should I buy a 2x512 dual and then have 1.5GB of RAM.

Willing to pay for it, but want to know that I am getting the best value for money.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
    Cheers,
    Smack

    I have some G.Skill LE PC3200 @ 2-2-2-5 T1 rated to PC-4400 @ 2.5-3-3-7 T1

This stuff uses the TCCD chips and kicks arse IMO, depends on your needs and your FSB / HTT limits. I have had it upto 280FSB @ 2.5-3-3-7 and it worked great, my CPU maxed out at this FSB so I don't know what the memory's limits are.

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

Buy my pair of 2*256MB OCZ PC4200 2.5,4,4,7 Enhanced Latency and tighten the timings of your current pair :)

2 matched pairs of double sided memory works best in a p4! So 4*256MB is faster than 2*512MB all other things being equal
