Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A Grace Period for the Grace Period?

The Newry Democrat reports that readers are furious over the implementation of the parking control scheme in the town. One lady said that she went into the Feis, paid for an hours parking in the New Street car park. The event ran over and on her return she found a £20 fine on her window. 'My ticket was up at 15.06 and when I came back was a note written by the warden at 15.17. one minute over the 10 minute grace time."

    Like the title, Victor!!
Well what's this lady's problem then? She was 11 minutes late coming back - The so called grace period was up so she has no right to have a moan. If it's decided that another 5 mins should be added after the grace period, then people will complain when they find tickets on their windscreens after coming back to their cars 16 or 17 minutes late. She got what she deserved and has some cheek to complain.
