Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It was a pretty poor performance, but thats the expectation we have built up ourselves.

We scored too early, it was always going to end up with us sitting back. Having said that we totally contained Israel, the didnt have any clear cut chances, just a few half chances and snap shots.

Obviously its disappointing, but if we had held on people would be applauding Kerrs tactics saying he got it spot on.

Personally I think he should have taken Morrison off much earlier, I am one of the lads biggest fans (well as big a fan as you can be of Clint!) but he obviously wasnt fit. He didnt work at all, it could have almost been psychological because he had scored and he felt he had done enough.

And as has been pointed out, despite the disappointment, we are still in a very strong position. Automatic qualification is still in our own hands.

What got up my nose was the amount of wasted dead ball opportunities. Even though we weren't playing well and creating chances, you expect to at least carve half a chance from some of the dead balls. Yet, we seemed to take every edge-of-the-area-free-kick short and pass it right across till it went out for a throw. Had we even managed to get a shot or two in or force some keeper saves, they'd have been under more pressure. But we seemed more content to just pass it around the box from a free kick, useless with 11 Israelies in the bloody box, and wait till we put it out for a throw or Kilbane played a bad pass and they countered us. SIGH!
