Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone heard this? It's new and slightly crazy - and the guy has a thing about Daft Punk. So I suppose that's a good sign. He is losing his edge.

daft punk is playing at my house is the worst track lcd have ever done, totally put out there to roll off the back of the hype around daft punks third album. clever marketing but awful track

I quite like it but Yeah, and Losing My Edge are still the best things he's done.

Someone mentioned that the problem with LCD is that they released their best song before the album even came out. They'll never top Losing My Edge.

The follow-up single had "not as good as Losing My Edge" written on the cover. :D

Name-checking Daft Punk twice in the space of only a few singles is unusual all right though. Another new group, Death From Above 1979 (not to be confused with DFA), have been saying that Homework was a great influence on them too.

It hasn't been announced anyway if they are.

    Hit pending.

LCD are rocking. It doesn't matter is their album tracks aren't as good as Losing My Edge, it's still a solidly danceful album, and it's better than Human After All by a fair bit.

I knew nothing about Losing My Edge until I got the album; I was buying it on the strength of the videos for "Momentum" and "I'm playing Daft Punk at my House" (titles incorrect). I thought that second CD was just some bull**** promotional material, as is so often the case with second CDs. But peel my tangerines if it didn't have the best stuff on it. You live and learn.
