Don't worry mate, it's better to keep up 1 thread, then to have millions, later

Moriarty is a good guy, he will keep it up ;)

You won't get 2mbps. You'll probably get about 1.8mbps. Should be around 220-240.. It really depends.
    Your current bandwidth reading is:
    2.36 Mbps
which means you can download at 301.75 KB/sec. from our servers.

    It changes alot here :P

Do you have confirmation that it will be upgraded? So far all I've seen has been hearsay.

Esat Business 1MB (soon to be 2MB from what I hear)
ping - not correct as my wireless connection to my router adds to it

Ran it 5 times and only changes by a tiny..tiny bit (0.05k)

What BB package is it and how much?!?

  • Hosted Moderators Posts: 2,094 ✭✭✭halenger

That'd be the "refresh button" BB package. (Refresh doesn't work cause the files are in your cache. You need to hit retest)

Well as NTL are selling off their Irish assets...I wouldnt hold your breath for a 3mbit connection.

If you were going to get the 3mbit connection anytime soon....wouldnt you think it would have been passed onto Dublin as NTL operate a single network with the UK???

Also who says the new owners will want to push the broadband service like NTL did.
Besides the competition in the Irish BB market is a joke compared to the UK...and it was due to pressure from Telewest that pushed NTL to increase their UK speeds anyway!

    TTT,

Please Use Moriarty's thread for discussion, but post only the results here, no comments, well maybe a little comments too but not much, keep this thread only for the results please,

Please only post the results IF you have been upgraded, and post them in
tags, like I showed in the begining of the thread, so everyone sees clearly
