I don't know if this belongs here but it's hard to pin this band into one genre (grateful dead - wikipedia ) Can anyone recommend some albums? I've only started to get into them recently but their music is incredible. Anyone see them live ever? Any Dead Heads here?!

only really know one of their songs well, 'Friend of the Devil', musically a very very good song!

yeah i dig the dead

two really good albums are "Uncle Johns Band" and "American Beauty"

sweet, get those and soem live shows, before you decide if you want to go onto some of their earlier, more lysergic stuff

Also, is there anywhere I can look at all of the hosted artists? What kind of music is on the site, in general?
