    Info also at www.babyshambles.net

Xfm can reveal some of the tracks that have been recorded for Babyshambles hugely anticipated debut album, and all reports indicate that Pete Doherty’s troubled outfit are having a fine time in the studio.

On Sunday March 20, Babyshambles took up residence in Twin Peaks recording studio in the Brecon Beacons, Wales to commence recording their debut album with ex-Clash man Mick Jones and legendary Sex Pistols, Roxy Music and Guns N’ Roses producer, Bill Price at the controls.

In a new statement from the band’s representatives, it appears (in surprisingly non-Babyshambles fashion) that everything is going swimmingly.

As of last Sunday (March 27) the band had completed 12 songs, with five new
ones being arranged over the weekend.

According to the statement “everyone's in high spirits” (ahem) the band are due to be in the studio for another three to five weeks, consistent with the rumoured summer release of the album.

Along with a list of songs including ‘Pipe Down’, ‘Alibi’, ‘32nd Of December’ and the near legendary previously unrecorded ‘**** Forever’ is a new song which is promised to included very special “guest vocals”.
