For Geography I wouldn't be surprised to see Desertification come up in physical because it's hardly been asked before and they might want to try and get it in one last time before the end of the course

Hey, thank you everyone who posted predictions in this thread so far. I've run through every single one, and had at least one positive match to what I'm doing for everything....so hopefully I'm pretty set for the real thing. It's been a great confidence booster.... yay!

You do realise that they could all be wrong, and someone who doesn't have any of the predictions prepared might well get on really well, right?..

your right thats why the thread is called predictions, what u think will appear on the paper. Take the predictions with a pinch of salt. But if u do read them, it gives you the general consensus of what people are studying.

Chem (H): Gotta be etanal or ethanoic acid. Just remember anything that has come wont come up this year. So any question 3's aint gonna reappear. Probably something about water treatment there si something like one part in 4 on it and a part of question 5 or 9 of some year.

Anyone got any sample áistes for terrorism, sport or crime in Irish (H)? Cause I need some good phrases and see a good layout to an áiste.

Also could people put in the level cause its starting to get confusing without it.

It's not too late!! you've got a week - use it. you'd be surprised at how much you can get done when you're under pressure. If I were you I'd look over Urchnoc Chéin Mhic Cáinte, it's also hotly tipped for this year

Those "headscarf thingys" are called foulards. Generally though, all the questions have something to do with young people. So they might ask about how important religion is/isn't for teenagers today. Which would be good as I have vocab prepared on that.

In Irish, how likely do people think Fiosracht Mhná is to come up?

For section D, the Spanish Civil War is almost a cert.

just read this today, spanish civil war is tipped but I really doubt this, check the pattern, came up like once in the 1990s and 2 times in this decade, and the last one was recent, im not so sure it will be there. Just my 2 cents

Well it is only a prediction, but my teacher said it and I did a revision course and she said the same thing. But sure you cant even know whats coming up in the other courses and they are around a long time. It's just guessing and a bit of luck!

Oh, and a question about the Irish paper - I heard that Faoilean definitely won't come up because the poet, Michael Davitt, was caught using child pornography and there was a court case and stuff. Did anyone else hear about this? I hope it's not true because it's such an easy poem

yeah i heard that too and i was bullin cos thats the one i know the best, but my mate has this savage private irish teacher and he said its def not gonna come up because of that

damm u were so wirte today . i wasted me time ansd studid it.it never came up
