Eircom Upgrading Question!

Im sorry if this was already asked, i know that eircom are updating their lines tomorrow between 10pm and 8am as per the press release:


Enhancements to your eircom broadband service.


eircom broadband will be enhanced over this weekend. From the 4th of April 2005 these changes will allow you to enjoy even faster download speeds.

Your service will be automatically enhanced on the 2nd April between the hours of 10pm and 8am. Some eircom broadband users might experience a five-minute slow down in service while the enhancement is being performed. You will have continuous service during this 5 minute period.

We hope you enjoy these great improvements to eircom broadband.


But what i wanna ask is, does this mean that from tomorrow night we will all be upgraded or do we still have to wait until monday the 4th

Read the other active threads. From the link you pasted, it looks like you'll be temporarily upgraded for a while tomorrow night, with it brought back down to 512k until monday. Don't ask me why they're doing this, I don't know.
