Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Happened in an FA Cup game not that long ago, the ref consulted his linesman and 4th official before sending them off.

Striking a player is an offence no matter what team he's with.

Great result by Villa, I'm sure all the headlines will be about the 2 lads beating each other, but Villa were 3-nil up before they got sent off.

    Go on the Villa

A comfortable win for Chelsea, Huth was my MOTM a superb performance. Ronaldo got an awful blasting from Giles and Stevens.

Hmm, now that's interesting. There's of course been several incidents of two players from the same team fighting with each other on the pitch but I can't remember a case where they were both sent off for it! Should be worth watching.

Is this a first for Englands top flight?

Lucky Mike Reilly wasn't reffing. ;)

I Didn't see the incident yet but if they were fighting each other they deserved to be sent off. Does the three of them miss the Utd game ? I'd nearly feel sorry for Newcastle if that were the case.

LOL just saw Ianos Link. Jesus what a pair,

neither of them apoligised to each other aswell, which i thought was strange.

yea, all 3 send off today miss the semi final. I would say souness went ****ing ape at them. Wouldnt supirsed if he gave both of them a good kicking. Bowyer certainly deserves one, little knacker.

Bit harsh to be laying all the blame on Bowyer without knowing any facts. We dont know what was said and who started it.

Came out slightly wrong on my part. You just weemed to be singling Bowyer out for a kicking, when it was the two of them fighting.

Keane lucky to stay on the pitch today, came close to breaking that guys leg and the ball was a good couple of yards away.

United would have deserved the win today, all it would have taken was for That wonderkid Ronaldo to pass one instead of trying to pass the whole team and roll it in himself.

Sounds like Liverpool rode there luck today, though I did not see or listen to the game so just going on the media reports. However we deserved that bit of luck as we have had none all season, what with the injuries etc. Have to say I feared the worst today when I seen the line up, I feared Bolton where going to sneak the win. Delighted with the 3 points and as for Biscuits getting the winner...well what can you say!!

Roll on Everton dropping points tommorow, though the best I can see is Everton drawing, though they are away from home if I am not mistaken. Anyone have a link to the goal by any chance??

Thank for the Fish, give me one example where he didn't pass it when he should have.
That said, after his crossing today, I would have rathered if he tried to run the pitch, he might have scored :)

Ran on the right hand side, into the at the top corner of the box instead of trying to knock one in he dribbled it on a bit more before a tackle that went through him and the ball. It was in the second half of the game.

I could give you more but you have asked for one and that is all you are going to get, makes me wonder did you even see the game..

    Todays scores

    Fulham 3 - 1 Pompey
    West Brom 1 - 0 Everton

G'wan the west brom. Only 1 point in it now. Everton fans scared yet?

G'wan the Baggies! Thats 4 losses out of last 5 games for Moyes hoofers, they're not going to finnish forth but Brom may just escape the drop.

Liverpools season is v smilar to the one a couple of years back, where Chelsea pipped them to fourth spot and for a while Everton were in the hunt but the toffees always seem to come up short, I think Pool will just nick it off them.

1 point in it now which us having th better goal difference, i knew WBA would win it today, delighted!

also, if WBA stay up wont they be the first to break break the christmas bottom of the table vodoo? fair play to byran robson, he got an awful amount of stick when he started out.

Ok one example was a bit silly, but criticism of Ronaldo just annoys me.
Ronaldo played badly yesteday, but it wasn't because of choices, it was because of quality of crosses.
I'd also like to point out to people that he was fouled on my count 11 times in the game when he had beaten players, none of which recieved yellows.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,247 ✭✭✭✭Guy:Incognito

Everton have 11 points from 36 now, so if Liverpool dont get 4th now its entirely their own fault (not that being in the position of having to chase Everton in the first place isnt their own fault)

Was at the Liverpool match. We were close enough to the Bolton fans who were shouting and jeering for the whole match. Needless to say the pleasure overload was immense when we scored. Anyway - well done WBA - we owe you one.
