Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi there,
does anyone remember going to a wrestling event in Tallaght in around 1988? I don't remember hardly anything about it except that held in big a red/white candystriped marquee tent and that Giant Haystacks might have been wrestling at it. This was no WWF deal, merely a bunch of those British wrestler that used to be on ITV on Saturday mornings. I'm trying to date the event but can't find any info about it on the net.

    Any info gratefully recieved.

Yes, it was promoted by Orig Williams, the same man that came back with the WWE Tributes...to the best of my knowledge it was held in the grounds of the Spawell.

i was at a show around then with G.H and others including another Irish guy.
It was held in that pub (?) on the way to Crooksling.
There was one wrestler who offered £100 to any fan who could put him down with a punch to the stomach.
