I just checked my speed and it's gone from 512dl to 1024dl but the upload is still 128

I was talking to iol tec support yesterday and he told me the upload was doubling too, I was looking forward to seeing would an increase in upload speed make my online gaming a little better

10:30 on Sunday morning and having logged on I have noticed a huge increase in speed.
Anyone know of a good reliable place to carry out a free broadband speed test and what sort of speed i should expect now with the upgrade (was on the 512 with esat which is now supposed to be 1mb)

You can run a few tests HERE

Combatcow--Any chance youd let those muppets in Eircom tech support know about your problem.Ive talked to 3 people in celbridge and they all have problems.Seems to be isolated to the celbridge exchange for some reason.

Use this thread for the bandwidth upgrade stuff.

Seemingly everyone's back up, so I'm closing this.
