    What languages do the people on these boards know. I have fairly limited knowledge in the following programming languages...
    C
    C++
    VB
    VBA
    HTML
    SQL
    and if somebody asks a question in one of them then I will try my best to answer it. I just want to know what languages I can ask questions about that others on the boards would be knowledgable in.

    (That any better verb?)

    Work with Java, XML, VB, Asp, SQL etc.

    Play with Java, perl, php, XML, c/c++, mc68k asm (palm gooood), and pretty much anything else that catches my fancy, wanna look into scheme and phyton when I get back to college.
    Also I've been trying to refresh my college math by tinkering with misc graphics stuff in preparation for heading back to college.

    Have also used fun stuff like Eiffel etc. for college.

    Oooh, pascal, forgot about that.

    Spent a bit of time working with delphi and learned turbo pascal shortly after Quick Basic back when I were a young lad.

    Have also messed with obscurities such as HyperTalk and Data/PowerFlex *shudder*

    C, Java, Perl, VB, VBScript, shell scripting, Html, XML, SQL. To a lesser extent some C++

    Areas I'm mainly interested in are COM development on windows and Unix system programming as well as use of the Java API (in which I'm still below average).

    Right...
    * VB
    * C
    * C++
    * VC++ (yes, there is a difference!!!)
    * Pascal
    * Delphi
    * JAVA
    * Perl
    * PHP

    I know bits and pieces about the above - I don't claim to be any kind of expert in any! I mostly deal with PHP and Perl at work (with MySQL Databases), but I'm moving more into Java stuff very soon.

    Oh ya, HTML does NOT count as a language!!! tongue.gif But, I do more with that than anything.

    All the best,
