Hi i'm totally clueless about the whole real life casino scene. I know of two casinos in Limerick, near the bus station. Do either of these have poker games and are the worth goin to or dodgy?

Where's the casino near the bus station? Don't know that one. There's one on Ellen street, but they don't have any poker. Just blackjack, craps and roulette. There was supposed to be a new cardroom opening on Nicholas Street but it looks like it went down the pan, or atleast won't be opening any time soon. There are a few Limerick players on this site and I've been hoping to get a home game organised some times soon, with the view of maybe starting some kind of club. I'll keep you posted.

There's one across the road from blackspot records, don't know if that is Ellen Street. Was it called McArthurs, not too sure. And i saw something else beside the chiper across the road from the bus station near South Hill....
Anyway keep me posted on whatever it is your planning, any kind of a game and i'm there..

I think that's just an amusement arcde. It looks pretty dodgy and knowing the area its probably just a front for something else.

I'm certain there is no cardroom in Limerick as of yet. If there was I'd know about it and they'd also advertise.

I'm hoping to have a weekly game which would probably be some STTs. Cash games most likely wouldn't suit as players would like to play for varied stakes. I'm interested in forming a club to discuss poker and run our own games, and would probably have a venue but with work commitments at the moment I just don't have the time.
