    Hi all,

    Even though I have a message alert selected, when my phone receives a new message it doesn't make a sound. Also doesn't display the envelope icon which tells you a new message has been received :confused: so the only way to find out is to keep on checking the inbox every so often. :mad:
    Has anyone ever heard of a similar problem or does someone know a solution.
    The phone was bought through ebay (and worked fine when I got it first) so bringing back is not an option.

    Sounds very peculiar
    Did you try doing a full reset on the phone?

    I am unable to do a reset as is askes for a phone lock code which I don't have.
    Is it possible to get the code removed and is it expensive???
