    Seen this before but fell asleep about 20 minutes awoke to some "Deeper deeper" and me saying WTF! a lot

    So last night watched it again and didnt quite get it, so help :)

    1.
    after he awakes in hotel, why did she leave or did she, did he give her one and she didnt like it? or did he not propose and thats why she left?

    2.
    when he drinks the whiskey what happens next , seriously he sees life tru her eyes ,how? Didnt make sense it did as a narrative but not with him actually seeing Mr Shibata and how she was treated. Also the different conversations that were played then i assume that was her thinking that whats she wanted to say


    Just those 2 :)

    Great movie altho puzzling at times, find with Asian situation horrors some of the atmosphere is lost in the subtitles.
