Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    i think bayern can win this tie. Chelsea havent met a proper side yet.

    on a side note how come bayern munich isnt pronounced properly on tv. its mun-shin

    something to do with the german pronounciation of munchen?...munshin? similar??? duno, might just be crazy commentators...

    cant see bayern winning this chelsea are just too strong overall...and vitally they seem to be able to close out games when they need to..well in the premiership anyway...barcelona were a bit of an exception i guess.

    the EPL is a poor comparison to other leagues. Barca were very sloppy at the back and bayern are complete opposites. A typical german side, very well organised, extremely hard to break down and very strong mentally. Chelsea are a good side but they have yet to do it against the top teams proper.

    I would rate Barce as a proper side.

    Munchen is the proper name (they are german after all and its their word and city), munich is an english translation.

    proper as in defensively sound. they were a mess at the back. there wont be any of that joy with bayern;)

    Very good player Forssell , played alongside Clint and he's Prolific , unfortunaetly I think he will be passed on to another club in the next 18 months .
