Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sony PS2 repairs

    I have a day one PS2 and its starting to give the dreaded Disc Read Error when trying to load(some) PS2 games. NFSUG2 works, GT4 does'nt (GT4 ran ok first few times, now it loads 1 in 5 trys) . Ive got 2 different cleaning discs, hoovered it, played it flat etc. same deal some load others wont. These are all new original games.

    So i reckon it needs to be opened up and cleaned /laser re-alined. Out of Warranty, so i want to know if anyone has paid and sent it in to Sony Ireland to get it fixed. How much did it cost and how long they had it. and when they sent it back did it load fine.

    also would they give u a temporary replacement PS2 while they fixed it?
    Any info would be grateful Thx :)

    go online and buy a replacement lense and put it in yourself the lenses burn out after a couple of years.

    sony wouldnt fix anything for less than 150euro, and u most certainly will not get a replacement. this is speaking from experiance with their music line, not the psp
