Met him on my year abroad in college. A load of us used to go to the same pub all the time. Eventually got together (despite me already having a boyf at the time!). He's English and we're doing the long distance thing at the mo which is a nightmare. Together over 3 years now!

He was chatting online to a friend of mine 1 evening & they decided to meet up for a drink that night, herself & myself already had plans so she brought me along!
I was thinkin 'o joy i get to tag along with my mate as she chats up some internet loser all evening!'

Turned out i was his sort of gal & we've been together for over 3 yrs now!



Moral of the story?

Don't try to befriend me!

Aye, it's tough. but if it's worth it you'll grin and bear it.

Met my Girlie in uni at Leicester. Basically, I pulled a friends house mate, didn't really go anywhere but my girlfriend was this girls best friend so we hung out a bit. Got on really well and we had a few dates but didn't get together.

I came back home to ireland and we stayed in touch with email and about a year later we decided we should have really gotten together so she flew over from eng for a week and we really clicked . Asked her out and after 2 years doing the long distance thingie, she moved over to dublin and in with me!

I started talking to my girlfriend under the strangest of circumstances.

I got a missed call one day on my phone one day from a number I didnt recognise. I rang it back but hung up a few seconds later as it could have been a Mayo farmer for all I knew who'd answer!

She txtd back saying that I rang her and a few weeks later, we started txting out of boredom and out of curiousity because she didnt have my number until I rang her, and I didnt have her number until she rang me, also the phone she was using was her spare phone!

Eventually we decided to meet up (she lived in my city and was my age btw) and despite a few hiccups here and there... its been going well since!
