    Gmail happily sorts all mails from a single recipient into one thread.

    So this morning, my inbox looked this:

    This thought had occured as well - so it is wholeheartedly supported.

    How about putting (quoting) the post in the email? that way we could judge somewhat if it even needed our attn?
