Help - Part needed

I need a catalytic converter for a 1997 Mk3 1.4 golf :( I tried loads of breakers but no joy (I did get one but it was the wrong type - apparently there are a couple of types, mine is the one with the long pipe that goes all the way from the cat to the manifold). Any help appreciated... :)

what u need to do is find one with the same engine code urs is prob APQ it should tell u on the white sticker located in ur boot and service book.

the same engine will appear in most similar size vw group cars of the same age. they all use the same engine codes
