First Swallows, House Martins, and Swifts of the year...

    Saw my first House Martin of the year in Sligo last week - March 29th. Can anyone beat that?
    Haven't seen any Swallows or Swifts yet.

    First arrivals with me in Wicklow
    Willow Warblers early than usual, Swallows a little later, though strictly they're not arrivals rather fly throughs.

    March,
    Fri 25th 3 Chiffchaff
    Sat 26th 6 Chiffchaff
    Tues 29th 2 Chiffchaff
    1 Willow Warbler
    4 Swallow

    Have also seen Sand Martin. I rarely see House Martins...

    I suppose you'd see them all first being from that part of the country? And I'd imagine that people from Wexford would see everything first?
