Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

We ALL love to watch films, we enjoy horror movies for the sheer elation terror it extracts from us. Humourous movies because they make us feel good. So then, I ask, what influence have these movies made in your life?

Yes Gordon, it is to give me a little help gathering a few ideas for an essay. So anybody feel free to give your input :D. I've asked similar questions on boards for essays and have unearthed intruiging responses which also made for interesting discussions on boards so this will be another ;).

Some movies have given me great ideas for romantic things to do for girlfriends. So, I'd say it's influenced my life in that way a bit...

Other films with good soundtracks have made me go out and buy albums from bands I'd never heard of before...

'Falling Down' made me want to find a bag of guns (plus a rocket launcher), go walking around town and start doing a Micheal Douglas on everybody who pissed me off and just blow them away. As well as destroying a set of roadworks with the rocket launcher! :D

Then again, seeing Micheal Douglas' bare, wrinkly auld arse in 'Basic Instinct' also made me want to vomit violently, too!
