Nissan Micra shock absorbers

My wive's 1996 micra (Japaneses import) needs the shock absorbers changed. Just wondering how expensive wouild such an enterprise be? Would it be sound to try and order themonline, say from the Uk, as it might turn out cheaper? Based in D15, any suggestions wellcomed.
